The villages of Courchevel
Courchevel 1850
This is the resort’s original core, the one that gave it its name, the work of architect Laurent Chappis and engineer Maurice Michaud. From Moûtiers it’s 24.2 km, about 35 min without snow, from €136.96. I can drop you near Courchevel Tourisme or at the Ourse Bleue car park.
Courchevel 1650
The village was called Courchevel 1650 before it became Courchevel Moriond. It is 21.7 km from the station, about 32 min without snow, from €127.46. The Ariondaz, Belvédère and Mickey lifts are in this area.
Courchevel 1550
Now called Courchevel Village, this level is 18.7 km from Moûtiers, about 27 min without snow, from €116.06. The Grangettes, Roys and Tovets lifts are in this area.
Courchevel Le Praz
Known as Courchevel 1300 until 2011, Le Praz is the closest of the four levels to the station: 17.2 km, about 25 min without snow, from €110.36. Rue des Tremplins Olympiques is one of the local landmarks, and the resort hosted events at the 1992 Olympic Games.
