Chauffeur hire by the hour in the Nord: a private driver, 3 hours minimum
A wedding, a hen party, a seminar, a round of meetings: when the plan has several stops, per-kilometre pricing soon becomes hard to follow. With chauffeur hire by the hour, I stay with you and the vehicle, and charge an hourly rate.

What it’s for
Wedding: the newlyweds’ car, then the shuttles between the town hall, the ceremony, the photos and the venue, not to mention the to-ing and fro-ing. Hen or stag party: you move from one part of the day to the next, and I bring you home at the end of the night.
Seminar or corporate evening: shuttles between the hotel, the event venue and the restaurant, with an invoice in the company’s name. Round of meetings: you go from one client to the next without looking for parking or ordering a ride at every stop.
Shopping, sightseeing, a family day out: I drop you off, wait for you and put the bags in the boot between shops.
How it works
You choose a radius around the pick-up point: 15 km or 25 km. Waiting time, stops and detours within that radius are included in the hourly rate.
Time is counted from the agreed pick-up time until the end of your programme. Every hour started is charged, with a 3-hour minimum.
If your plans take you beyond the radius, for example a ceremony further away or a drop-off at a distant address, the extra kilometres are charged at the usual per-kilometre rate. I price this in the quote, ahead of the day.
Rates
Saloon, 1 to 3 passengers: €50 an hour within a 15 km radius, €60 an hour within a 25 km radius.
7-8 seater van, 4 to 8 passengers: €75 an hour within a 15 km radius, €85 an hour within a 25 km radius.
With a 3-hour minimum, chauffeur hire by the hour therefore starts at €150 in a saloon and €225 in a van. Example: 4 hours in a van within a 25 km radius comes to 4 × €85, i.e. €340.

Vehicles
My fleet: a 7-seater Citroën Spacetourer with leather seats, a Mercedes EQV, a Tesla Model Y or similar, an 8-seater Renault Trafic and a Ford Tourneo Custom with club seating.
The saloon rate applies to the Tesla Model Y or similar, for 1 to 3 passengers. The van rate applies to the other vehicles, for 4 to 8 passengers. I’ll recommend the one that suits your group and your luggage.
The Tourneo Custom has face-to-face seating and Wi-Fi: it suits seminars and rounds of meetings where you work on the move.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if we go over the planned time?
Every hour started beyond the booked duration is charged at the same hourly rate. If your plans might overrun, let me know when you book so that I can plan my diary accordingly.
Can we make several stops?
Yes, as many as you need within the chosen radius: photos, lunch, shops, hotel. Stops and waiting time are included. You pay for the time I’m at your disposal, not for the kilometres.
Can you bring us home late at night, after a party?
Yes, it’s one of the most common uses: weddings, hen parties, stag dos, corporate evenings. I stay until the end time we’ve agreed and take everyone back to their address. If some people live beyond the radius, I add the corresponding kilometres to the quote.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
I set out the terms in my quote, before you confirm: any deposit, payment on board by card or in cash. An invoice is provided on request.
How far in advance should I book?
For a wedding or a weekend between May and September, as soon as you have your date: these slots fill up quickly. For a weekday, give me a call: depending on my diary, I can take a booking at short notice.
